Have been using Lenono ThinkPad T400 for the last 3 months and I must admit loving it every piece. You get what you pay for. Owing a Dell and Acer at home, can really find the difference.
Lenovo is happy to downgrad the OS to my favourite Windows XP which I happily accepted and have no problems since then. Although Windows XP doesn't recognise all of the 4GB memory, it performs extremly well on 3GB. Wireless internet coverage is excellent. Lenovo's ThinkVantage is extremely helpful for connectivity and other system maintainance operations.
I would definetly recommend this for people who are looking for performance on memory intensive tasks like video editing, application development etc. However this is a bit pricey for simple home use (unless you have big pockets ;) )
