Even less than it looks...

Advantages: Bang for buck, specs and features
Disadvantages: active matrix

Lenovo ThinkVision L192 has been in my use for a year now and I cant say anything else to it: It is amazing... Sleek design of black and anodized aluminum combined with state of the art technology results in a mouthwatering candy for casual users and gamers. Well, I have tested this monitor with different applications and I can rest assured that this monitor lives up to its stats. Compared to a 17" widescreen that has the same stats, the 19" seems much more natural to the eyes and does not stress them... Plus the 5 ms refresh rate ensures smooth and flawless motion. 300 candela per square meter might be somewhat stressful to the eyes but during daytime, it ensures good quality... 800:1 contrast gives more natural and pleasant color and looks, to me, even more appealing. Somewhat not good is the active matrix feature. After I ...

Your little bit for the environment

Advantages: 65% recycled plastics and 70% recycled packaging materials
Disadvantages: None as of yet

After searching for a while for a new screen i stumbled across the Lenovo Thinkvision L1711p. And was very happy with my purchase. Delivery was quick. And after a long wait, plugged it in to use. Screen is very easy to install, good quality, and with 65% recycled plastics and 70% recycled packaging materials, gives you a self satisfation that you are doing your little bit for the environment. I used the monitor on a number of different desktops and managed to get it to work on all of them with no effort at all. It runs well even after being on for a long period of time and does not seem to be producing and problems. Am definately going to be getting one for the office. Would highly recommend to anyone. ...

Lenovo

Advantages: Built in webcam. fingerprint recognition that works, good customer support.
Disadvantages: Slightly sluggish compared to some higher end machines.

I own a Lenovo 3000 N100 and use it daily for personal use. I also use a Dell Latitude D620 for work, but I will try not to compare them too much to each other in this review. I acquired the Lenovo after my previous Laptop (a Medion) died and couldn't be resurrected by the Insurance company - so I didn't actually go out and buy this one specifically. In actual fact, it is much better than my Medion, although this may be due to the passage of time and better technology. Technical Bits: The laptop has a Core Duo processor (I think mine is 1.7Ghz not 1.83 as listed in the header). It has 512MB RAM, a DVD writer, fingerprint recognition and a nifty web cam in the lid. It has built in Wifi which works well. It has 4 USB ports, although annoyingly these are on the side - I prefer them at the back (especially fr the mouse). It also ...
