INTRODUCTION
I bought myself a used IBM / LenovoThinkpad T41 for £129 and although it's a pretty old machine (probably from 2004) and fairly low spec by today's standards, I still feel it was a bargain. This was from Cash Converters.
DESIGN
The machine, like all IBM (now made by Lenovo) notebooks are intended for business users and so the design is not particularly sleek but instead, have a very 'professional' look to them. They all seem to be black with a little bit of red on the button and either a red or blue knob for controlling the mouse pointer. Some people think they're on the ugly side but I actually quite like the look of the Thinkpads. I've noticed that all IBM / LenovoThinkpads look alike and have the same body, keyboard and use the same smooth black matte material rather than plastic that most other ...
Advantages: Durability, performance, handsome looks. Disadvantages: A little expensive, but definitely worth it.
of the keyboard. It makes working without a mouse a lot easier and faster, specifically it keeps both of your hands on the keyboard so you can type and navigate without moving your hands. Advantages: Easy to use, finger printing software is cool Disadvantages: intrusction manual didnt take long to write by the looks of it

The T60p has a 2.16Ghz Intel Core Duo processor, and comes with 1GB of ram, with an option of 2GB. The ATI powered video card has a memory of 256mb and the HDD size is variable, as mine is 74.5GB. The laptop comes with a choice of 14.1" or 15.4" TFT Monitor which is quite clear. This laptop is desgined to be used on Windows XP, but is also Vista compatible which gives you an option of operating system.
The laptop itself is excellent and it runs quickly, and is easy to use. It is also has two options of mouse navigation (pad and red mouse thingy) which makes it easier for you to use. What i like about the laptop is the advanced Think Vantage tools which allow you to use your laptop with ease, these ...
