I work as a science teacher in a school. I have used this software and i think that it is outstanding. It covers the whole of Key stage 3 and it can be used for lower ability key stage 4 students.
It is extremly simple to use. It is engaging and interactive. It has a quiz and test for each mini topic. It has all the core notes that you will need for Key stage 3.
It also has interactive activities such as drag and drop and it has the capability to reproduce practical experiments.
The price is normally under £10 and is well worth it. The software could easily improve a students sat level provided the student worked through the exercises on a regular basis.
The software is extremly easy to use it runs directly from the cd-rom.
The only problems that i have found with the software is you need to allow pop-ups as the software ...
As with any GCSE student at this time of year, I am looking for any bit of help I can get at the moments, and the LettsRevisionGuides were just screaming out to me. Advantages: colourful, brokendown info, helpful diagrams, humour Disadvantages: not enough info
the few questions situated at the end of each topic. This is very helpful in reinforcing the information. The questions can help you revise in different ways that are all effective. They can be used by answering the questions using the book, without the book or quiz others on the questions.
I recommend any student, parent or teacher to buy these revisionguides in any key stage, level or subject. Teachers think the questions are great for starters at the beginning of lessons or as a quick homework's and as well as using the pages in the revisionguide to take notes from.
The revisionguides are for:
Key stage 1 = 4-7 year olds at around 3.95,
Key stage 2 = 7-11 year olds at around 4.50,
Key stage 3 = 11-14 year olds at around 9.99,
GCSE = 14-17 year olds at around 9.99 and
A Level = 16+ at around 9.99.
They ...
