Advantages: cool as fcuk, hard wearing case, good storage space, price, password protected Disadvantages: can't change the password
...I was attracted to the LexarJumpDrive Lightning flash drive as I scanned through several websites looking for a suitable flash drive. I short-listed a few but none could compete with the gorgeous and stylish look of the Lexar with its 1GB storage space.
The flash drive interfaces with the PC or laptop via the USB port and it works on a plug and play basis on Microsoft operating systems. All Microsoft operating systems except Vista, but this isn't a problem for me at all as I don't intend to upgrade this software after hearing a few horror stories.
Encased within a stainless steel shell that to me looks like chrome and shines like chrome you can sense that everyone around just wants to snatch it out of your hand as it is just so much sexier looking than the bland plastic devices. The hoop allows the enclosed neck strap to thread...

Cheap and effective Review ofLexarJumpDrive Secure II - USB flash drive - 1GBby

Advantages: Cheap/5 years guarantee Disadvantages: Very basic design
...This USB device is not much different from any other, and as far as I know is one of the cheapest in stores. I paid 29 euros for it, last week.
The 2.0 speed makes all transferences fast enough for the amount of information it support. It's recognizable by every computers I've tried so far (I've tried computers with Windows XP, 2000, Linux and Macs).
The software that comes inside takes about 5 MB of the storage capacity and allows it to work properly both with PC or Mac.
The real storage capacity of this device is 1.039.368.192 bytes or 991 MB.
It has a (shinning) blue light to tell you when it's working!
The only thing I dislike on it, is the simple design. Its shape and colour are as simple as it can get. So for those searching for more than a storage device, this might not be the best product. But it's not ugly either…
I...

Advantages: Pretty Blue colour, Cap Clips onto the hole, reliable Disadvantages: The price, unstable connection, transfer light weak
...If you read my review of the SanDisk Cruzer USB 256mb Flash Drive (http://www.ciao.co.uk/SanDiskCruzerMiniFlashReview5466824), you'll know what these little babies are all about. But in case you don't want to read that review, in short, these are highly portable disk drives that can hold quantities of information from as little as 64mb to as much as 2gb. These simply plug into your USB drive on your computer, and you can copy and paste (or drag and drop) files from your computer directly onto this unit. The one I'm reviewing today is the LexarJumpDrive2.0 Pro, 256mb high-speed portable storage. Just to be precise, the LexarJumpDrive comes in storage sizes of 256MB, 512MB, 1GB and 2GB.
As with the SanDisk, you should know that if you're running your computer on Windows98, you'll need to download a driver from the Lexar...
