Lexar JumpDrive Secure ll is a USB flash drive with a good 512mb storage capacity. It boasts plug-and play functionality, allowing you to pop it into any usb drive on a mac, pc or server and drag and drop files 'to and fro' as desired. (Ease of access depends on the o/s you have installed, i use both OSX10 and vista, both work great!) Now 512mb isn't exactly the king as storages spaces go (you can get upto 8gb now!!!) but its perfect if you only transfer the smaller files such as word docs, the odd song or two. If you are moving larges directories then this isn't for you and would recommend you look at the size of file/directory you have and purchase accordingly. In love with Lexar

Advantages: cool as fcuk, hard wearing case, good storage space, price, password protected
Disadvantages: can't change the password

I was attracted to the Lexar JumpDrive Lightning flash drive as I scanned through several websites looking for a suitable flash drive. I short-listed a few but none could compete with the gorgeous and stylish look of the Lexar with its 1GB storage space. The flash drive interfaces with the PC or laptop via the USB port and it works on a plug and play basis on Microsoft operating systems. All Microsoft operating systems except Vista, but this isn't a problem for me at all as I don't intend to upgrade this software after hearing a few horror stories. Encased within a stainless steel shell that to me looks like chrome and shines like chrome you can sense that everyone around just wants to snatch it out of your hand as it is just so much sexier looking than the bland plastic devices. Can you catch this firefly?

Advantages: Large amount of space
Disadvantages: Very small, easily lost

with the device, and when I inquired Lexar about some specifics about the device, I got a fast, and relevant response, in about 48 hours. As I have mentioned before, the problems with it. It's small! I am the type of person who loses pretty much everything, so I was quite annoyed that it didn't come with a lanyard so that I could keep the thing tethered to me all the time. Luckily, I had one from a previous USB drive I had, so I'm able to keep track of it. The cap comes with a hole for a lanyard, so I'm wondering why Lexar didn't include one. Perhaps a way to get more money, buy the lanyard extra? I'll have to ask them and get back to you. All in all, if you can keep track of this FireFly, it is going to be a great catch, but that's just my opinion. ...
