Advantages: Great ease of installation Disadvantages: Doesnt quite do the job needed.
...Lexar is a good company however to recieve the best a MicroSD card has to offer you are better off getting the Kingston MicroSD brand as they are faster and cheaper!!!
For ranking purposes I would rank lexar not as good as its competitors but the company is always improving.
I personally would recommend a kingston branded card instead of the lexar you are currently viewing on your screens.
Durability wise Lexar is more than worth but for write speeds and other such needs I would recommend a kingston.
The error rate of this card is fairly low however I would lastly recommend only using the card for 15-30 mins at a time.
This is because the performance of the lexar cards have been known to drop drastically....

...Viking Securedigital SD256 - Camera memory card
A little gem this, purchased to use in my digital camera, it works every time.
It has a little lock switch on it if you want to make sure the kiddies wont delete anything.
It is also fully compatable with any mutli purpose card reader i've thrown it in.
Data transfer is quick. certainly not a limiting factor.
And at the prices these can be had for online now is so cheap its a wonder more people dont use them!
In fact i suppose that because all memory is so cheap now that people automatically go for the larger cards, but why not get a few this size, perhaps use one a day, or even one a week for your travels, pack them in the little box it comes in and you can easily email or have your pictures printed!...

...bought this card for a digital camera I had bouht my daughter for her birthday.
The card arrived well packed and upon being inserted into the camera it worked straight away with no formatting or change of settings being required.
At 4.0mp the camera indicates that the card will hold 300+ photos which I think is excellent for around £5.
Access times seem very good and even at 4.0mp there does not seem to be any hold up and we have been able to fire off photos in quick succession without any problems.
The card seems to be solidly built and viking a rule are very reliable having built up an excellent reputaion in memory related products. Always my first choice of brand.
The card has also been used with a card reader to store pc files in a similar manner to the way you would use a floppy disk. Get yourself a card reader for your PC...
