...I bought this (in Staples in the US) to work with my JVC GZ-MC200 camcorder - check my other reviews to see if I've got round to reviewing that too - and although there's not much to say about a memory card, I thought I'd have a go...
Of course, there's no real "installation" to worry about, just take it out of the packet (opening the packaging was probably the hardest part !) and slot it in ! With the camcorder (it also takes stills) set on 1600 x 1200 pixel images and "Fine" qualitty, it tells me that I can take 572 pictures (966 on "Standard" setting") with an empty card, so I'm pretty confident that I'll never run out of space for photos !
This "Ultra" version has a claimed minimum of 10MB/second sequential read speed for ultra-fast image viewing and data transfer, and a minimum 9MB/second sequential write speed. Of course...

Advantages: Great ease of installation Disadvantages: Doesnt quite do the job needed.
...Lexar is a good company however to recieve the best a MicroSD card has to offer you are better off getting the Kingston MicroSD brand as they are faster and cheaper!!!
For ranking purposes I would rank lexar not as good as its competitors but the company is always improving.
I personally would recommend a kingston branded card instead of the lexar you are currently viewing on your screens.
Durability wise Lexar is more than worth but for write speeds and other such needs I would recommend a kingston.
The error rate of this card is fairly low however I would lastly recommend only using the card for 15-30 mins at a time.
This is because the performance of the lexar cards have been known to drop drastically....

...You can use SD cards in all sorts of products now, such as Digital Cameras,PDA's,MP3 players and much much more. They can range from £20-£60 in the 512mb range. This one costing £40 for me, and your paying mostly for the name.
I bought this brand new from a internet website, and i have not had one problem with it since. No random file loss, no techinal problems so it comes pretty hassle free. Owning a cheaper SD card, i have neither had problems with that and it was half the price...so again, its mainly Lexars name that costs the most on this, but with a respected company, customer services is so much greater.
One difference to other cheaper SD makes is the 4.8 MBps / 32x writing speed, so when taking a photo/videothrough a digital camera, the data really can transfer safely onto the flash storage with no problems what...
