My only gripe is the cost of these cartridges - you need to consider refilling them as a cost effective way of prolonging their life. In some cases the cartidge will costy more than the printer cost originally . Lexmark need to do something about this . ... more

The cartridge produces quality output - colours are very good and realistic. depending on the printer you can get near photo quality prints from this cartidge It has a reasonable output in terms of number of pages it will create

When we got the scanner/printer with our new computer it seemed to have it all.
Having kids meant that it was used for school,invites to parties,cards and just pictures to put on my walls!
Needless to say we soon ran out of ink!!
At first we wondered where we could get a knew one, but amazingly we found it everywhere, from Computer World to Asda and also on many internet sites.
Having bought it, it could not have been any easier!
We opened up ... ...for the colour cartridge.
This was colour coded, so even I could not put it in the wrong place!!
Once the lid was popped open the old one just slipped out and the knew one in ( remember to remove the foil strip on the bottom before inserting)
Close the lid and the Scanner/Printer and it is ready to go
I did a maintenance clean of the heads to check all was ok and it was.
No messy ink everywhere, not even a drop on my hands!
