I have used Lexmark ink cartridge since we got our Lexmark x5200 printer at the beginning of last year which was compatible with the Lexmark cartridge No.33.
Lexmark No.33 is a colour ink cartridge which can be used by various Lexmark printers including series X3300, P900, X7100, X5200, P4300 etc.
The colour cartridge is made of three colours of course (yellow, cyan and magenta).
I've never really had problems ... ...no need of buying the Lexmark No.33.
However the cartridge is very easy to insert. You just open the small red box, and use a scissors to cut the thick silver plastic, were the cartridge is stored.
There is a little colourless strip which you got to take off, after that strip is off you can not touch the area were it came from because you will get ink all over you.

I've never really had problems with the cartridge at all; it is actually the printer which I had problems with as it died on us, which was rather a shame, Therefore we bought another brand printer, so no need of buying the Lexmark No.33. However the cartridge is very easy to insert. You just open the small red box, and use a scissors to cut the thick silver plastic, were the cartridge is stored. There is a little colourless strip which you got to take off, after that strip is off you can not touch the area were it came from because you will get ink all over you. The box does not really have a manual which tells you how to insert the cartridge, it is quiet logical really, and the cartridge has to face up, in a way that you can view the label that says Lexmark No.33 However, some printers do tell you how to insert the cartridge as mine did, which makes it all easy, it is also easy to eject as you only lift it up and off it goes. When you take it off the printer, your printer will not have any ink smudges all over it; it will be looking as good as new, which is rather a bonus.
I would say I have never had any problems with the ink cartridge at all. It is available from many electronic shops and even supermarkets. It however does cost a lot, we used to get ours from Tesco were it used to be very cheap at only £19.99 but of course the price might have changed by now. The prices do vary as well, and I would say the ink cartridge is expensive but worth it. It prints out quality pictures that look good with no smears on the page. If you think the ink cartridge does not work for you, it is possibly because your Lexmark series printer is of bad quality or maybe it is dying just like mine did.
I would definitely recommend the cartridge to those whom have Lexmark printers as it is simple to use and does not give you trouble. Another thing is that it prints very well without smudging the pictures or documents etc. The Lexmark NO.33 ink cartridge does last long. There was a time I had to print out 150 A4 colour leaflets and I bought a new cartridge so that I would not be disappointed. It printed out the whole 150 sheets without me having to change the cartridge which was rather impressive, and the rest of the ink did last a few more days. Therefore you could say the ink cartridge prints over 150 documents without finishing. However, it could print less if you are printing pictures as they use so much ink, Overall, you won't be disappointed by the works of this ink cartridge. My experience with the Lexmark No, 33 colour ink cartridge have been very pleasant.
Note
---This ink cartridge is not compatible with all the Lexmark series printers, only a selected range.
---It is best you recycle the ink cartridges after you've finished using them as the cartridge is a thick plastic container (saves the environment).
---The Lexmark NO.33 cartridge has new gold print heads which helps the ink to stay on your document for a long time (the documents won't go blurry if you store them away etc).
---It is best you compare the prices on the net before you buy the ink cartridge as they vary a lot.
---Your computer should warn you when the ink cartridge is about to finish. Therefore, you should not worry too much about when is it going to finish.
---For you to save more of the colour ink cartridge, it is best you buy the black cartridge for the reason that when you print in black and white the colour ink won't be used, thus saving it. Why do this? Well the black ink is cheaper than the colour ink, therefore you save your cash.
