Lexmark Z 605 Color Jetprinter

Whilst purchasing a computer in the summer of 2004 I was given this printer as part of the companies package. I remember thinking at the time that there must be a catch, but I wasn't really ready for the experience. The printer came boxed up with the rest of the PC and from memory it was easy to set up. The CD that came with it for installing it's drivers was easy to use and I had no hassle in getting everything to work. When i bought my computer I got this printer free with it, 'great news' i thought. I have since found out how cheap they are in stores but at the time i was delighted to get a printer from such a well known brand for free. I had a Lexmark Z35 on free loan in connection with my Open University Course. Unfortunately it broke down (one of my children knocked it to the floor, accidentally, and it suffered major damage). I was unable to get an immediate loan replacement, and I needed to submit a hard copy of my coursework within a matter of days. I was devastated! I have owned and Epson and a HP Copier/Scanner/Printer all in one. This printer is much easier and made for my budget. I am not even going to tell you what I spent on the HP! I brought it home and hooked it up. Very easy to do. Just plug in electricity and plug in USB Cable and Presto I was ready to install the Software. I bought this printer in a high street computer retailer for the bargain price of £9.99! The price was so impressive that it was an absolute must have - no more running to the university libary to print my coursework ..... Or so I thought. This printer is incredibly easy to set up and use - just plug it in, install the software and your away! It prints perfectly good text - not so great for photos though.
