Introduction
LexmarkE 330, a workgroup monochrome laser printer, is my main printer at my workplace. With the size of around one foot in all dimensions (Width: 39.6 cm X Depth: 35.3 cm X Height: 24.9 cm), the printer can be placed almost everywhere in the office; on a tables, cupboards, shelves, or else. It is a network printer which surpassed 40,000 pages right now, so, I have many things to review about!!
Installation and Setup
On the very first day if my use, I've used it as my personal printer. The driver for LexmarkE 330 is included in the package which I found it can easily be installed. You can plug it in USB or parallel port as you like. After that, the printer had to be installed in the network which was beyond my responsibility. The IT staff was there to set it up. I watched them and realised that, it was ...

Advantages: Built-in network print server, fast printing, fairly low cost, support for Linux Disadvantages: Non-trivial, but not impossible, network installation under Windows XP
for this printer. When I spoke to them, they didn't think they could, but they may be able to in the future. This was at first a major problem for me, as Lexmark consumables are notoriously expensive. However, after reading up on it a bit, I find that Lexmark offer a 'Returns Program' toner, which is priced at a reasonable level, with the condition that the toner be sent back to them after use, presumably to compete with the likes of Cartridge World.
As I have mentioned, the main requirement for me was that the printer supported Linux, and this one does. It also supports:
- Windows 98SE,ME,2000,XP,XP64,Server 2003
- Mac OS 9,10.2,10.3,10.4
- Linux (as mentioned)
The system requirements vary between systems, but are not unreasonable.
The final requirement for me was that the printer support easy networking. This printer does indeed ...

Advantages: battery life, reliability, recording features, screen......etc. Disadvantages: only one disadvantage - no fm radio
I have had my sandisk sansa e260 for almost 2 years, and I still love it!
It is really easy to use, and has proved to be a solid, reliable player; it has never crashed at all unlike friends i-pods.
Battery life if very good, as is the sound quality. It also plays back videos very well- which is helped by the size of the screen.
The recording feature, through its inbuilt microphone is very handy.-and is much better than can be found on many other items such as mobile phones. Recordings sound clear.
The only thing that the player needs is an Fm radio, which wasnt available on the UK version when i bought it.
Overall this player has been one of my best purchases, and when (if) it does eventually break, i will definitely replace it with another Sandisk Sansa. ...
