Introduction
Lexmark E 330, a workgroup monochrome laser printer, is my main printer at my workplace. With the size of around one foot in all dimensions (Width: 39.6 cm X Depth: 35.3 cm X Height: 24.9 cm), the printer can be placed almost everywhere in the office; on a tables, cupboards, shelves, or else. It is a network printer which surpassed 40,000 pages right now, so, I have many things to review about!!
Installation and Setup
On the very first day if my use, I've used it as my personal printer. The driver for Lexmark E 330 is included in the package which I found it can easily be installed. You can plug it in USB or parallel port as you like. After that, the printer had to be installed in the network which was beyond my responsibility. The IT staff was there to set it up. Advantages: Reasonably price for a 3 in 1 MULTIFUNCTIONAL Unit. Disadvantages: So easy to accidently switch off.
I have had this printer for nearly 1 year now. Be aware that it has been updated by Lexmark and a newer version is available (the X3580). I've done some compairing and will mention any differences I know of below.
What it is: Its a 3 in 1 Multifunction unit. It prints, has a scanner and has a copier. Will connect to your computer via a USB port.
Shops: This is available on E.Bay (various sellers) and PC World have it listed. Its NO longer on Currys or comet (who used to sell it). It'll cost under £40 from the shops and less from auction.
Size: On line you'll get info on it in various sizes. I'll show it in 'old money': Its 15" wide, 11" long and 6" tall, so a fair size. Just look at a piece of A4 on the floor and imagine a few extra inches all round! Once its loaded with paper, the paper shoot sticks out at the back by a few ...

I recently resigned from my job in a multi-national company to take up a position in a local franchise with only a few staff members. What does this have to do with writing an op about a printer? Simply that, once I had resigned, it occurred to me that I would no longer be able to use company printers and paper to print off my personal letters. Let?s be honest, in an office of 50 or so people, you can get away with printing personal bits and pieces, but in an office of 3 or 4, it may be frowned upon.
