Advantages: range of features Disadvantages: speed
When buying a printer these days, its always best to get an all In one. That way you will never need to buy another thing if you need it because its all in your printer. Also it works out a lot cheaper than buying everything separate and it also cuts down on space around your computer table.
Lexmark have previously made a lot of printers and quite a lot of all in ones too. This Lexmark X9350, is a great all in one designed as a top end home office, or home printer and can handle a lot of use and a lot of different tasks you throw at it.
The look of this printer is excellent, its silver and white plastic body looks great and very modern, so it wouldn't look out of place in an office or at home.
Everything is nice and rounded, and the actually shape is a somewhat futuristic cube.
The printer layout is designed so well. At the top ...

Advantages: Price, Copier Disadvantages: Paper feed, print quality
I could not possibly reccommend this unit to anyone. The print quality is awful (uses just the one cartridge - lexmark no1) as the colour black prints out as dark blue - don't even think about trying to print out photographs. As with all lexmark budget printers the paper feed is very frustrating. I find myself putting 1 sheet of paper into feeder at a time as it struggles to handle any more than that. It generally pushes out all the paper if you attempt to load several sheets. Another problem I've had is that it is not compatible with windows vista. You can download the necessary drivers from the lexmark site but this is quite long winded and not guarenteed to work instantly (I had to download the drivers twice). The copying facilty is probably the best feature as you can simply use the printer directly without having to go through ...
Advantages: Size and Compact Device that does pretty much Disadvantages: Toner Prices and Price Per Page
Lexmark's X500n is a multifunctional machine suitable for a small group or office. It has a scanner, an automatic document feeder and all these work well with the printer part of this machine. The machine is reasonably priced even with all these great features and this makes it a very interesting option for the buyers.
It has a 250 sheet paper tray from where the papers feed inside. An optional 530 sheet paper tray is also available. There is no feed for other media like envelopes, labels etc. The control panel has straightforward controls. The buttons are spaced properly and are user-friendly. It has a two line display which gives good results; though the background isn't very appealing to eyes! Lexmark X500n has some pretty good software in the form of Abbyy FineReader for OCR and Presto PageManager for managing documents ...
