Lexmark has a laser printer for workgroup printing requirements. The Optra S 1650 has the speed and features for today's printing needs, and can be upgraded when needs and user numbers grow. The Optra S 1650 has a fast monochrome output that prints at high resolution. This sturdy printer has a LCD information display for printer instructions and status. Collated output prints are accessible from the front, and trays and toner are easy to reach for loading and replacement. This printer uses a high-speed bidirectional parallel port interface and includes a PCI-based internal solutions port. The Optra S 1650 integrates easily into multi-user, multi-network environments, meets the high volume needs of busy offices, and prints from virtually any PC software applications.
Advantages: Very long working life Disadvantages: Installation might be a pain in the neck!
...own protection I strongly suggest you to avoid installing MarkVision (the Lexmark printing control panel facility) which was especially made by Lexmark to drive you nuts!
However, after you are done with installation, you will start working with one of the most heavy duty printers ever!
Lexmark recommends to print on paper stock of up to 180 gsm, while I have printed - with a little pushing - paper stock of up to 300 gsm with no problems.

Advantages: Top of the range Disadvantages: Very pricey
...The LexmarkOptra T622dn is the fastest, smallest printer in its class. Finally, a format printer performance feautures in a high-volume A4 printer. The wait has been long and tiring, but definatly worthwhile.
The lexmark is a symbol for how Lexmark is hammering down the cost of printing which is of great advantage to you and I. However this is at no cost to performace, infact the evolution of printers is ongoing at a steady pace which makes this printer even more impressive. This steady advance in printer speed, size, and weight makes it perfect for companies who need to keep up with the latest hardware and software changes which are constantly developing.
This printer, equipped with advanced software tools that automate and centralize the set-up and updating of your networked printers. This includes 'Marksvision Professional...

Advantages: Quick, efficient and reliable Disadvantages: Expensive toners
...Lexmark may not be as well know as Hewlett Packard in the office world for their printers but I cannot see why not. I have been working with these units for sometime now and they beat the competition hands down.
Why?
Well, many reasons but first, let me describe one to you.
The LexmarkOptra T610 Laser Printer is not something you are going to have at home. The main reasons being the sheer size of the things and the cost of buying one.
However it is a powerful, high performance Printer which is both quiet and quick to print. It can handle you document management requirements much better than many of its competitiors and at a fairly reasonable business cost.
They are both compatible and upgradable to keep up with the modern business environment which is constantly evolving. No more changing your printer every couple of years. These...
