Tom Tom 520T
I am pleased with the ease of use and find setting up an itinerary a useful feature giving you more control of the route taken. The clarity of instructions, particularly when reading street names, is excellent. It is also useful to be able to add locations, as a friend lives in a relatively new housing development which was not listed.
However the "Points of Interest" feature is extremely limited. I live in the West Midlands, close to Dudley and despite having a zoo at Dudley the POI tells me the nearest zoo is at Chester 61miles away. Similarly, if I ask it for the nearest swimming pool I am directed to The Grand Hotel in Dublin 182miles away. The nearest library is given as 90miles away and the nearest police, dentist, doctor and pharmacy are all 175 miles away in Ireland. These are just a few examples of Tom Tom 520T ...

The T520 VW is a great tumble dryer. It is incredibly easy to use, with only one button and one "clock like" dial. The single button is used to select low or high heat.....and the rotating "clock like" dial to select the time desired for drying. ( Time goes from 0 to 120 mins). It is quiet, and has a reasonably large capacity and also boasts an "anti-tangle"claim. The white plastic fascia near the top of the dryer that houses the button and dial hasn't appeared to have discoloured over time....(unlike our washing machine which we've had for the same amount of time), and with the word "simplicity" embellished next to the creda logo, it really does sum up this item for itself. Simple to use, reasonably modern looking, won't discolour, and would easily fit into anyones kitchen or utility room or anywhere around the house for that matter ...
Advantages: Well built. Lasts well Great 6 cyl engine. Classic design. Disadvantages: Suspension wear. Suspension noise from rear. Economy & insurance
Have owned it for 5 years. It is 15 years old now. Got through it's National Car Test the other day, apart from some rear bulbs that had gone.
The 5 series has pretty much set the standard for executive cars since the late 80's. Though I'm sure Mercedes are trying hard with their E class.
I've been very pleased with mine overall. I'll definitely buy another BMW.
The car, despite it's advanced age, still does everything well. They are built to last. Engine is still perfect after 144,000 miles.
Insurance has been expensive but that's a complaint shared by most Irish motorists (am 35, clean license & no incidents).
The 6 cylinder engine is wonderfully smooth and sounds great. I'm not into speed, but it has 150bhp. 4 valves a cylinder. Fuel economy is not good, but I don't drive around town much. The car is heavy at 1500 kg. I'm sure ...
