This is a good quality product that offers good value for money in the short term. Although as with most electronic products, the value will deteriorate over time and should be anle to get a cheaper version next year. It incorporates most of the latest features and technology that is currently available on the market.
The consumer will have to spend a short period of self-training in order to become fully acquainted with using the product. This can be achieved fairly efficiently by making reference to the guide/instructions that comes in the box.
After using this product for a few months I have not so far come up against any reliability issues but only time will tell. I therefore have to recommend the product.
Advantages: Once installed quite easy to use Disadvantages: Difficult to install, have to pay for helpline

We purchased a Packard Bell P350 PC for £1299 from PC World in November 1998. The package included a Lexmark printer, Primax scanner + about 10 CD-ROMs.
Installing the machine was tough. So many wires to connect. May be it would have been better to pay £40 extra for a professional to install it. A mass of manuals also came with the PC, which were too difficult to comprehend.
One of the first tasks was to register the machine and set up an e-mail address. I learnt more by regularly practising rather than referring to the manual. The Word 97 manual was thorough but you only use 10% of the word processing functions.
Luckily a Freeserve ISP CD-ROM was given free of charge so connecting to the Internet was easily done. Installing the printer was quite hard and the hardware kept falling apart...
