Although this printer is good for the economy side of things, and produces good picture quality, peronally I have always found Lexmark printers a nightmare to work with.
The trouble started when I first got the thing and the CD supplied wouldn't install the software properly, and sent me repeated error messages containing mindless number sequences I didn't understand. It insists on installing fax software which I find nobody really uses anymore, and its otherwise good value for money I feel is compromised by it's ink prices, but I suppose this is true in all cases.
Difficulties aside print quality is very good, along with good speed and feature rich printout customisation, (different photo modes etc.), although color sensitivity is poor in my opinion, but it depends on your perfectionism when it comes to digital printouts. Scanner software is slow and confusing.
All in all, I wouldn't really recommend this, though it is a good printer if needs must, and will get the job done more than satisfactorily, so long as you don't mind a few quirks along the way.
