The RX300 has recently been replaced by the RX350 (same car with a new 3.5L engine, a better stereo, Sat Nav & a couple of other minor changes).
I bougth my RX last July & can honestly say that it's best car that I've ever had despite it only doing 20 mpg. We looked at other large (German) 4x4s before we decided to buy & they paled into insignificance when compared £ for £ with the Lexus.
You can find many sites on the internet that will tell you how good Lexi (is that the plural?) are but a couple of tips from me -
* If you buy one, get the Sat Nav option as it is abosulte perfection despite it being on the pricey side - it'll also apparently keep the resale value of your car up.
* I don't tow myself but have heard stories about the intelligent gearbox that's in the RX not being so smooth when a caravan or horsebox is attached to the back - ask the dealer about this!
