Having just replaced our conservatory (the old structure was ancient and wood rotten) we decided to do something about the uneven concrete floor. Should we tile it with some flagstones? Should we put a wooden floor down? Should we put lino down? Well what we did was research all the flooring we could put down .We considered the price, the durability of surfaces, the ease of laying floor could we do it ourselves, or did we need to hire someone to do it for us/ Well what we decided was to lay laminate flooring we looked in a flooring shop couldn?t find what we wanted and then went to B&Q . B&Q had a fairly good range and we bought Floor master tile L O C in a sort of terracotta stone colour. Wizzing across the floors

Advantages: Does as it says

Wizz floor cleaner We have lots of wooden floors in our house and although they are not laminate, i tend to try use this stuff or similar because bleach is too harsh and I like a nice fresh rather than bleach smell. WHAT IS IT? This product has apparently been specially formulated to effectively clean most types of sealed wood flooring ( so not just for laminate) and it promises to remove grease and grime with no need for rinsing afterwards. PRODUCT AND PACKAGING... The floor cleaner comes in a plastic bottle containing 1litre of the product. It?s quite handy because there is a handle on the side which makes carrying it around easier, although a down side of the packaging is the fact that the screw on/off top isn?t child proof, and can easily be opened. Review of Wizz Laminate Wood Floor Cleaner

karndean, the alternative laminate flooring

Advantages: durable, practical and versatile
Disadvantages: quite expensive

homely feeling. Karndean is a cutomised vinyl flooring which replicates natural forms of flooring without the recognised drawbacks. With it being a form of vinyl I have also found it is very much warmer than other products such as laminate. It is suitable for any room including bathrooms and conservatories and it is hygienic as it will not hold dirt and bacteria. We have found that this brand is also durable it has not chipped, splintered or cracked and extremely hard wearing, other products such as wood or laminate(which I have had in the past) can be very noisy whereas Karndean is quiet underfoot and with a 1year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier in the house this is a great advantage.
