... So the first thing I need to say about Lidls own brand of nappies is that they have a blue strip on them that fades when they get wet. I guess it is probably some very simple piece of litmus or something, but either way, it is very darn handy. So now, when child pees, I know that I should ... Read review

Kind On The Bottom, Rear End, Ass....

AdvantagesMarker to show when wet, good fit, no rashes, stay up

DisadvantagesFinding a Lidl store in some areas is hard!

"Where do I start to write about a nappy? I mean they are full of crap half the time they're on (well, they are if the parent is as lazy as me and the child is as nonchalent about it as mine), they hold pee to a degree until they seep everywhere and kids love taking them off at the most inoportune moments. So the first thing I need to say about Lidls own brand of nappies is that they have a blue strip on them that fades when they get wet. I guess ..." Read review

A LOT more for a LOT less at LIDL

AdvantagesCheap as chips and the most reliable I've used.

DisadvantagesI can't think of any other than snobbery!

"...Spencer aficionados say, I think LIDL is brill. My daughter is six months old and in that relative short space of time I have tried and tested virtually every disposable nappy on the market, and I have found LIDL's own version to be the best. The best feature is the 'wee strip' which alerts you to your darling child's excretion - it turns blue from a pale yellow when your little angel has weed or pooed, therefore eliminating the need for that ..." Lidl's..... you can't go wrong with this value!!

AdvantagesVery Good Value, Absorbant, Wetness Indicator

DisadvantagesUnattractive Packaging (don't be put off!)

"...went down to my local Lidl store and picked up a pack... I have to admit that I was a little doubtful that they would be any good when I saw the packaging - a bright red pack with a half drawn/half photo of a baby on the front, and covered in foreign writing! Never the less I decided to give them a try and picked up a pack of 50 Maxi Play nappies (15-40lbs) for £5.99 - a very reasonable price. The nappy itself is white fabric with little blue ..." Be happy with a Lidl's nappy!

AdvantagesDoes the job with ease!

DisadvantagesDon't do newborn size!

"...my mum always shopping at Lidl and praising it up like it was the best place to shop in the world! But everytime I saw her with something interesting, I would say 'where'd you get that from?' and before she could answer I would say LIDL'S!!!! (and be correct!) They mainly sell groceries, (at ridiculously low prices) but they also have a specials isle with one off stock bought in, again, at ridiculously low prices! Anything from car to horse ..." Don't pay the earth for brand names

Advantages Same quality, lower price

DisadvantagesOccasionally the fixing tapes break (but they do on other brands also)

"...quality and fit of the Lidl nappies is about the same as the Asda ones, and in addition, the Lidl ones have an indicator stripe to show that the nappy is wet. We've never had any leakages using these nappies, and our son seems quite comfortable when wearing them. On a few occasions we've had the fixing tapes break off when fitting the nappy, but we'd had that problem with Asda ones in the past as well, so I guess there's no real difference between ..."
