Finding a Lidl store in some areas is hard!

Where do I start to write about a nappy? I mean they are full of crap half the time they're on (well, they are if the parent is as lazy as me and the child is as nonchalent about it as mine), they hold pee to a degree until they seep everywhere and kids love taking them off at the most inoportune...

Cheap as chips and the most reliable I've used.

I can't think of any other than snobbery!

I just love LIDL. I don't care what all those Marks & Spencer aficionados say, I think LIDL is brill. My daughter is six months old and in that relative short space of time I have tried and tested virtually every disposable nappy on the market, and I have found LIDL's own version to be the best...

Very Good Value, Absorbant, Wetness Indicator

Unattractive Packaging (don't be put off!)

My daughter is 8 months old and I have tried several nappies, including Tesco, Huggies, Pampers & Wilkinsons, but I would recommend Cien nappies over all of these. I was recommended Cien nappies by a "mum friend" of mine who told me that she used them for her baby because they were very good...

Does the job with ease!

Don't do newborn size!

I used to make fun of my mum always shopping at Lidl and praising it up like it was the best place to shop in the world! But everytime I saw her with something interesting, I would say 'where'd you get that from?' and before she could answer I would say LIDL'S!!!! (and be correct!) They mainly...

“Pampers at a premium”

FABULOUS price, large packs and great quality, wet...

No newborn sizes, small range

I have to admit, until the birth of my daughter seven months ago I was somewhat of a novice when it came to nappies. Until the night of her arrival (alone on the labour ward) I had never actually changed a baby's bottom! After that first hesitant and slightly fumbled attempt I was on a steep...

When our son was born, we bought Pampers from Makro, but soon realised that even with Makro's wholesale price, supermarket own-brand nappies were considerably cheaper and of a similar quality to Pampers. So we switched to Asda (George) brand nappies, which were just fine, and worked out quite...

cheaper and same value as other leading brands

none

I have tried several of the leading brands of nappies as follows: Pampers, Huggies, Asda and Tesco's own brand. The main brand I used was Tesco nappies on a regular basis, that was until I tried the nappies from Lidls. I recelty went on holiday wand could not find a local Tesco store. I came...

“The TOP for their bottoms.”

Price, dryness, capacity, fit for both sexes.

You need a nearby Lidl.

Right - my wife and I have had two kids (the elder is four the younger two) and both have been mostly in disposables. Our elder was mixed between some resusables but it's been excessive hassle with the second. He was also tried in just about every type of nappy on the market. It's a truism that...

Great value , great product

No newborn size

I have been using Lidls nappies of all sizes for the last seven years. I have four boys and my youngest is still in nappies and yes everytime I am in Lidls I pick up a couple of packs. I can honestly say that I have never had a leaky nappy so that in itself proves that the absorption is great...

Ciao is a consumer review site and has no involvement in the production or use of nappies. You will need to either contact nappy manufacturers direct or speak to nurseries or care homes. Good luck with your product.

Satisfactory

published 24/09/2008

I am a big fan of Lidl for a number of products: Toilet paper, Parmesan, Ice Cream . . .and lots of other great finds . . .however, I have tried their nappies on my 7 month old girl and have been disappointed . . .she developed nappy rash straight away. I was very disappointed as the nappies are great value . . .one tip is to perhaps use them throughout the ay when you are changing regularly and use a barrier cream with them . . .and revert to pampers or AM other brand for night times.

Lidle Nappies are no use to me or my family. As my baby sister is older, so why would anyone need stupid lidle nappies? Btw visit www.AndyGray.info!
