I bought my Liebherr KTES1840 3 years ago, when we put a new kitchen in. I chose it because it was the largest internal capacity for the size, and it's strong construction. It is stainless steel, not just the door but the sides too. The shelves inside are all glass, so are very hygenic and easy to clean. All the shelves are removable for easy cleaning - absolutely perfect.
The fridge has a built in thermometer that tells you the temperature, and can be adjusted. There is a fast cool button to cool down that bottle of wine you forgot to put in for dinner.
It was a wonderful fridge but suddenly the food was warm, and it had gone wrong.
I initially tried to contact Liebherr but their web site wasn't too helpful if you are not in Germany, Austria or Belgium. I did find a form to fill in to make an enquiry but this wasn't answered.
I tried emailing the company I bought it from UKAppliances Directto see if they could tell me where I can find an engineer or parts, and they seem to have disappeared - I was informed by another member that this company went into liquidation some time ago!
I found a forum where someone else wrote that they had a broken fridge and had been advised by Liebherr that there is only one engineer in the U.K. and he is not available for several months - this later proved to be false as I eventually got the engineer's phone number from Liebherr U.K. after being advised of their phone number and finding a link to the UK website from another site selling fridges!
I tried enquiring from a parts supplier, he just referred me to the online search for service facilty which told me there were no engineers registered in my area.
Having said that it was a bit of a risk buying this fridge in case it went wrong, I have now managed to contact Liebherr (who tell me there is always someone available somewhere) get it repaired at the cost of about £90, but it is currently not cool enough and I will need to get the engineer back to adjust it.
I am fairly happy that at least I haven't had to shell out for a new fridge, providing I can get the engineer to adjust the new thermostat and it is not some other fault, and I would buy another one if this one lasts a couple more years!

I have updated my review as I did manage to get the fridge fixed. However it sometimes seems to be a bit warmer than it really should, but I am keeping an eye on it. Seems to work O.K. once adjusted but I have it adjusted quite high to achieve the correct temperature now.

Just a quick update, I have phoned Liebherr and they have given me a phone number to try, the first engineer they found doesn't cover my area. I will keep you posted on this, and if I have been unfair in the review I will amend it in due course!
