Body of Lies is a 2008 film, directed by Ridley Scott and staring Leonardo DeCaprio and Russel Crowe. It is a spy movie and centres around a CIA agent who goes on the hunt of a high ranking terrorist. It's definitely a good but not one that I would say you can really enjoy, I think rather, it teaches you about the atrocities of war and brings them to the forefront of modern civilisation and tries to show you the real face of war.
DiCaprio is the CIA agent who travels to Jordan and other places in the middle East. He is undercover and is always flying from one country to another to stay one step ahead of developments. I think Leo was very good in this movie. I would like his performance to that in Blood Diamond which I also though was very good. I really like the whole genre of thriller/mystery/murder because it is exciting and silence of the lambs is always exciting. I really enjoyed watching this way back when because it has an original storyline and excellent character portrayal from Jodie Foster and Anthony Hopkins.
The silence of the lambs focuses on Jodie Foster's character inteviewing Dr Hannibal Lector about Buffalo Bill, a man that is kidnapping and skinning women to make a skin suit for himself. He is clearly very deranged and odd and quite sick in the head to want to do this to people.
It is not like the others which focus on Hannibal and his feasting on other people but the plot and story is still very disturbing and sickening yet I think that is what makes it so good because it disturbs us and keeps us watching. The director has thrown in many hooks to keep us ...

I have long been a fan of Irish music, and a fan of protest songs, from John Lennon to The Clash, so it is fair to say that I have a fair collection of Irish protest music, some of which has a distinctly anti-British feel.
Before anyone slates me for writing a review of well known IRA sympathisers' songs, many of which are very supportive of the IRA cause, let me say this.
Like it or not, there has been a conflict between the British and Irish for hundreds of years, and the troubles of the 70's and 80's were not new. It was inevitable that songs would be written, and inevitable that whoever wrote them would have a subjective slant.
This album is not just about the IRA by the way, it also chronicles other 'struggles' such as the Spanish Civil War and the El Salvador conflicts.
