Brilliant cook book for beginners

Advantages: Easy to follow, great recipes, not too many ingredients.

A great 'standard' cookbook with fun extras

Advantages: Great standard basic; easy to follow recipes with yummy results, quality photos
Disadvantages: Maybe not for the very experienced cooks
