It takes a special kind of sunrise to get me out of bed! Advantages: helps get me used to waking up with continued use Disadvantages: needs reactivating every night, don't expect instant results ...I'd heard about these Lumie Bodyclocks and when I got my hands on my Christmas money last year and had chance to get to the large branch of Boots in Preston one day, I decided to look for one. (Thanks to the lowered rate of VAT that came in at the end of 2008, I picked my Lumie Bodyclock 25 up for £48.89, where a few weeks before it would have been nearer the £50 mark.) WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE? There's an element of "outer space" about this clock, ... ...is reasonably narrow - the Lumie website gives the dimensions as 15cm (height) by 19cm (length) by 12cm (width) - so it would fit on most bedside units or a wide enough shelf. The clock is a typical LCD-type alarm clock screen, except it's circular (I would estimate 5cm in diameter - certainly bigger than a £2 coin but not quite as big as the average chocolate chip cookie). A Ray of Sunshine. Advantages: Wakes you up naturally. Disadvantages: None. ...am a fan of the Lumie Bodyclocks having owned 3 which I will explain in a moment. I bought my first one about 3 years ago and I wrote a review on the Lumie sunrise bodyclock in December 2006. You are welcome to read this review and will notice that the reviews are completely different.
