When it comes to diets I have to confess that I am a total sceptic, there have been so many books published about diets, all claiming to be the best and proven beyond doubt, and yet many appear to totally disrupt our eating patterns and demand us to eat things which we find totally objectionable.
And then there are the diet groups and clubs such as weightwatchers, which appear to work for some people but not for others. I know that these have changed their views over recent years, moving from 'points' based systems to more reasonable 'eat what you like' systems.
So, when I first read about this new 'Diet Support Tincture' I though, here we go again, yet another wondercure without much foundation.
To read the published literature about this product, it does indeed sound as if it is the wonder of all diets.
According to the makers, this diet support tincture is...
All Natural - it is a blend of herbal ingredients together with the active ingredient 'Yerba Mate'. This is a widely cultivated evergreen tree of the holly family indiginous to South America. It is used medicinally and also as a natural refreshing beverage in many parts of South America. The tincture has been formulated by a top herbalist.
The tincture is claimed to...
Reduce appetite Attack fat Speed up Metabolism Boost Energy Levels Stop Carbohydrate Cravings
The recommended usage of the tincture is to add 20 drops to a full glass of low-calorie non-fizzy drink twice per day, preferably mid-morning and mid-afternoon. This apparently helps to get hunger under control while adjusting the body's metabolism ready for lunchtime and dinner time.
The makers describe Diet Support Tincture as a 'whole body tonic' that promotes balance in many of the body's systems. Its tonic effect on the body can also help to regulate sleep cycles and reduce fatigue.
At first look, this tincture is not cheap, it costs £17.95 for a 50ml bottle which the makers advise is one-month's supply, but when I compared this to other similar products the price is reasonable. I also considered that a typical diet club or group costs around £4.50 per week so one month's attendance would cost £18, so again the cost of this tincture is not unreasonable.
Does it work? Well, I have not had direct experience myself yet, but I have heard from three independant users of the tincture who all reported significant weight loss within a few days of taking the tincture, so initial findings would seem to support the makers claims.

It looks as if this could be one diet product which does indeed do what it says on the label.
