Lily Lolo sells only mineral make-up products, with all natural ingredients and only as many ingredients as necessary. Many of the 'mineral' products that have emerged in the past few years don't stay as true to the mineral definition as Lily Lolo. They're a company to be trusted in this sense, especially as mineral products is ALL they sell.
Lily Lolo's foundation comes in a variety of shades under the classifications of neutral, cool, warm and olive. One good thing about these foundations is that they can easily be mixed to create a new colour, so if you can't quite find the perfect match for your skin tone, mixing different pots together might give you something you can work with. This foundation is good for really pale people like myself, as their shades go right down to "porcelain", which is as pale as pale can be. If you're unsure of what shade would suit you, Lily Lolo offer sample pots of everything they do, and the foundation samples are 99p.
Applying this can get quite messy, so I'd recommend doing it before putting on clothes, particularly black clothes, as I always end up with powder all over the place. The best way to apply this is to sift a small amount into the lid of the jar, then take a wide buffer brush and swirl it around and tap off any excess to get good even coverage over the bristles. Then work the brush over your face in circular motions. This foundation gives decent coverage, and it's easy to build up so you don't have to put too much on in one go. Its staying power isn't the best, and I find that by 4-5 hours there's little left on my face at all. That being said, I only use a mouisteuriser beforehand with no primer or setting powder.
Some people have claimed Lily Lolo, because of its mineral properties, works wonders for their skin. Others claim it broke them out. For me, it did neither. I really like this foundation and am just getting towards the end of my second pot now, which has lasted me around 5-6 months. For £12 (for 10ml), this is really good. However, after this pot I won't be re-purchasing this foundation simply because my skin has taken a turn for the worse (unrelated to this product) and I need something a little heavier.
Lily Lolo's foundations are great if you want light-medium coverage, and are a god send for anyone who hates feeling like they're wearing make-up. If you're in the market for a new foundation, it's well worth checking out their samples.

Advantages: Cheap, easy to apply, natural with no chemicals Disadvantages: Requires a good technique you have to master in order to get the best results
Advantages: Amazing coverage, doesn't dry out your skin and looks natural. Disadvantages: Applying takes a little time to master but is well worth the effort.
Advantages: The sample pots are great, decent prices, 100% mineral ingredients, not tested on animals Disadvantages: Won't clear up your skin. Sadly not as good as the (photoshopped!) photos of models on the web.
