Advantages: portable, many power options Disadvantages: needs good television reception
...think a television should be in a bedroom, but at the end of the day there are only so many episodes of Dora the explorer or Peppa pig that an adult can handle).
We also found that different television channels seemed to have differing strengths, this meant that we might be able to get BBC1 but channels four and five could not be found.
The built in speakers are more than adequate when it comes to this television, in fact for the overall size of this, they can be quite loud.
Yes I would recommend this product because of its versatility and ways it can be used. That however is wholly dependant on the potential purchaser being fully aware of the limitations the attached aerial has when it comes to poor reception areas....

Advantages: Good space saving device Disadvantages: Could break seperately and the quality is not brilliant
...At home, we have limited space in our bedroom and we do not yet have our Sky Television pumped up to our bedroom.
Therefore, when I want to watch a video and hubby is watching Sky, I normally draw the short straw and retire to the bedroom with a cup of Coffee.
Rather than have a separate TV and video taking up valuable space in the bedroom, we opted for this handy space saving alternative. A TV/Video combi.
We dod not want to spen a fortune on it and so bought a budget Aiwa model.
What a great buy it was.
Sure the TV quality and picture is not exactly caught up in the digital revolution but it is pleasantly watchable. The video is also along the same lines . Not brilliant but watchable.
What is good about this unit is no tuning in TV channels to find the Video recorder. Its all stored as a seperate channel.
Handy when I could do...
