...For those of you looking for quality at lowcost this monitor must be the holy grail. At £170 I doubt that you will find a better monitor.
The main reason I bought this monitor is because I am on a tight budget and believed this monitor presented the best performance in my price range, and it didn't disappoint.
Like the rest of the D range it uses a Samsung Dynaflat tube. The screen is pretty much flat you can only see it not being flat if you look really hard and even then its only very slight. An advantage this does have over Trinitron tube monitors is that it doesn't have the black support lines across the screen that you can see in Trinitron monitors.
The screen image quality is very good and the colours are crisp. I didn't realise how bland the display was on my last monitor untill I got this one. The adjustment...

Advantages: Price, features Disadvantages: only 512mn installed RAM
...For a lowcost laptop it defiantely has all the features you would need.
I love the fact its thin and certainly portable, not like some laptops that are heavy and bulky.

For example it comes with a built in Network adaptor. The wireless feature works great...

Advantages: Cheap, reasonable image quality Disadvantages: It's just another scanner, a few problems with XP drivers
...The Trust CompactScan 19200 is a typical low-cost, no frills scanner, so there's not really that much that you can say about it.
The model has undergone several revisions, with mine being some 6 months old and model no: 11924 - one down from the current revision. As the name suggests, this scanner only connects to the USB port so it's no use for legacy systems without a USB port (unless you use something like the Belkin USB to Parallel module, or just fit a USB card).
One of the most annoying aspects of PC ownership is the number of power cables and power supplies you end up with after adding a few peripherals. Thankfully, like many other USB scanners, the CompactScan doesn't need an external power supply and takes its power directly from the USB port.
The scanning speed is about what you'd expect from a cheap scanner...
