Anyway got it home and was pretty happy with it. For a 15W amp its LOUD, really loud for its price and size and for that I give it credit.
When I started to get a bit more into my guitar and ... ...it really didn't perform. The overdrive is reall electronic and unauthentic and the flange, phaser and tremolo effects are pretty poor. Sure it's nice for an amp this price and size to have all these effects, but they are not great.
The amp looks pretty good and is built durably I would say.
All in all its a pretty good and loud amp for its price, but don't expect anything amazing from it. ... more

When I started to get a bit more into my guitar and I wanted to try get specific sounds out the amp it really didn't perform. The overdrive is reall electronic and unauthentic and the flange, phaser and tremolo effects are pretty poor. Sure it's nice for an amp this price and size to have all these effects, but they are not great.

...favorite settings on this amp. Line 6 have successful managed to create a setting that has a huge amount of distortion. The setting is designed to give out high levels of distortion without having any effect on the sound quality. The built in effects are an excellent feature and are one of my favorite aspects of the product. On the left hand side of the master volume knob are the echo effects. "Sweep Echo"- The sweep echo feature allows the user ... ...amp. "Tap Echo"- The tap echo feature allows the user to choose how regularly the note echos by using a button located above the knob. The user taps the button at the tempo he would like the note to echo and the amp changes the setting to match the desired tempo. "Reverb"- The reverb feature creates a very distant sound. The sound is very much like someone shouting in a large echoing room. I've had the amp for around 3 months now and am very pleased ...

The Line 6 Spider III 15 guitar combo amplifier is a 15 watt solid state guitar amplifier with built-in amp and effects modeling. It's a good small amplifier for a starting guitar player, and makes a great home practice amp for more experienced players. The Line 6 Spider III is a superb amp for it's price. It is a 4 channel amp with 6 effects (up to 2 at a time). It has a headphone jack and a CD/MP3 input so you can play along with your music. This ... ...is 4 choices of sound clean, crunch, metal and insane. On the downside though this amp needs to be up quite loud to get the right tones. I am using an Epiphone Les Paul 100 with stock pickups. It fits perfectly with my style of music. This little 15w amp can get extremely noisy when on full, but choose the wrong settings and a lot of feedback comes in. I love this amp. It just works, and works brilliantly. I bought it as a step up from my Marshall MG30DFX, and this is a vastly superior amplifier. This amp is the most versatile amp i think you'll ever encounter. It does thrash, death metal, blues, rock, shred, clean, anything. It also has a nice range of effects, which are brilliant and go from subtle to mind bending. The construction of this amp is also exemplary. The control nobs feel solid, the ... ...easy to read. The cabinet itself appears to be made from plywood, and sounds fine for an amp of this price. This amp works brilliantly with my LP, my strat and my SG, i love it. If there is one problem with this amp, it is the volme fluctuation when going from channel to channel. I have a nice set up on 'Crunch', i switch to 'Insane' for my solo, and it kills every dog in a 10 mile radius, and pisses of te neighbours to boot. Also, the preset effects ...
