I primarily use this router to connect to the internet, but I also use it to connect with the other computers on the network. this device functions well as a firewall, and it allows configuration of the ports, as well as VPN, and DHCP. I was a little nonplussed about not having a paper instruction manual but the online help is useful. I was able to take the device right out of the box and connect it with no problems. I was surfing the internet without any extra setup within minutes. I would recommend purchase.

But the unique dual Internet ports on the 10/100 8-Port VPN Router let you connect a second Internet line as a backup to insure that you're never disconnected. Or, use both Internet ports at the same time, and let the router balance your office's requirements between them for maximum bandwidth efficiency.
