The Wireles-G USB Adapter is an excellent product, and does exactly what it was designed for with the minimum of fuss or complexity.
On first look, you'd say it looks rather like a slightly chunky flash drive, but it's way more effective than that. It can be used to connect a PC or laptop to a local network, directly to another computer or, probably most commonly, to a wireless router for broadband internet access. It is connected, as you'd expect from the name, to a USB port
Depending on your view, the fact it's external to the computer can be viewed as a plus or a negative. On the plus side, it's handy if you're using for more than one computer, however on the negative side, I expect there's a much greater chance of damage due to dropping, spillages etc.
The connection is capable of incredibly fast connection speeds (certainly as fast as my broadband can supply), and I have personally had no complaints so far in terms of reliability. The box says it's backwards compatible, so can support previous USB versions as well for older PCs.
The set up process is remarkably easy, and the software provided is useful for managing the connection and monitoring network speeds. I have found personally though if only being used for broadband connection, Window's own XP Wireless Zero Configuration is just as effective, and probably easier to use.
Overall I've been very impressed with this product, and if you're looking for a low cost high speed wireless connector for home or local network or broadband connection, I'd definately recommend it.
