...I then came across the Linksys WAG200G. Looking at the specifications on the box, I could see all my basic requirements were covered. ADSL modem, with 4 port switch, wireless to G standards ( 54mbps ).

I got home, and started to unpack my new purchase, even though I obviously saw what it looked like at the store, and on the box, I was quite surprised when I started to remove the contents from the box. ... ...basically just opens up the Linksys website, if you see it then hey - your good to go )

Advantages: Connects one or more computer at a time ,wireless signal can be encrypted and its cheap Disadvantages: Instructions lack wireless setup info and causes stress/ frustration/anger towards an innocent computer.

If I go out and buy something that states its WIRELESS IT SHOULD TELL ME HOW TO SET IT UP WITHOUT WIRES SO I DONT NEED TO PUT IT UNDER CARPETS AND THROUGH WALLS! Instead of a manual I had to guess exactly how it would work. So after what seemed like hours I gave up on it. The instruction manual had no useful detail and the cd was not much use for helping hints either it asked for things that I just did ...

Its left on, in my home, for days or weeks at a time and does need a reboot from time to time, which is as simple as pressing the power button off and on again.
