Introduction ************* I had this wireless adapter bought me at Christmas to go with my wireless router which I have already reviewed. The idea in mind was to set it up on another computer in another room so that I could go on the internet with no need for cables to be trailing any where.
Installation ************ The installation is very simple and quick. The wireless adapter is connected to the computer through a USB (Universal Serial Bus) cable with one end going from the adapter and the other into the back of the computer into a USB port. One of the best things about this adapter is that power adapter is not needed because the adapter can get its power through the USB cable.
When the computer has loaded the adapter will have been detected. Using the CD that came with the adapter insert it into the CD-ROM and wait for it to load. With a few clicks you install the linksys program which allows you to search for wireless routers. See told you it was easy.

As well as that the colour and style of the adapter make it blend into most if not all environments whether at home or work.
It has an antenna that can be pulled out so that it is facing upwards towards the sky. When the antenna is folded back into the adapter the total length and width of it is the size of your hand.
Value for Money ***************** For thirty odd pounds this wireless adapter is a bargain and with the data transfer rate of 54Mbps it makes it even better because if you look at the market is very rear that many products will surpass this adapter. There are however a number of smaller and cheaper wireless devices but you would be sacrificing the transfer rate.
Recommendations ******************** I am really pleased with this wireless adapter that is why I would recommend this wireless adapter to anyone with business or personal needs at home that needs an internet connection. If you have a laptop but it doesn’t have an inbuilt wireless adapter then this adapter may just be for you because you’ll be able to take it any with your laptop and when you need an internet connection just connect it and away you go.

The Wireless-G USB Network Adapter with RangeBooster is the simple way to add or upgrade wireless connectivity in your desktop or notebook computer. RangeBooster technology is a compatible add-on to standard Wireless-G which increases your wireless network's range up to two times, and its throughput by up to 35%.
