Advantages: Fast speeds, Reliable, Stylish Disadvantages: I had wireless problems, Gets a bit warm, no restart router option in config
The Linksys WAG160NN300 is an ADSL2+ wireless modem router, meaning it has a a modem built in. It is for use with BT Internet connections rather than for use with a Cable broadband connection (i.e. Virgin) although a Cable version is also available. It?s an ADSL2 router, which means it supports the newer ADSL standard, which could mean faster transfer speeds although this really depends on your line quality, distance from Exchange, service with ISP, etc. The router currently costs £74.99 from PC World but a bit less at £59.99 on their website. I bought mine about 8 months ago on Ebuyer for around £55.
IN THE BOX
You receive two ADSL filter
s, RJ11 cable, user manual, manual and software CD, power adapter and lastly, the router itself.

Advantages: Free internet service Disadvantages: You may have to move your Pc to another location of the room to pick up good reception
This piece of technology is the best thing since the light bulb. Having said this you elimiinate the hassel of buying splitters and cords running all over the place if you have more than one computer in the home. Just install the adapter and it pickes up the signal from your other computer. It even works if there only one PC in your home but you may have to relocate your computer to another section of the room in order to pick up the strongest signal possible. The Wireless-G PCiAdapter is also great for your personal laptop. Internet is accessible almost anywhere you go as long as there is wireless access in your area.
I would highly recommend this product There are different price range to choose from. i chose the lowest price. ...
Advantages: Small, strong signal, styligh looks Disadvantages: A little clumsy and obtrusive
This is a review of the LinksysWirelessN USB adapter. Following my review of the LinksyswirelessN router I thought I?d follow it up with the other component that makes the system complete!

This is a USB adaptor for laptops and PC?s that connects to the wireless network in your home or at work and allows you to access the internet, email, download stuff etc. (even post more reviews on Ciao!)
What?s different about this?
----------------------------------
WirelessN is the new upgraded wireless protocol to wireless G. The range and spped is increased so when you?re sat upstairs with your laptop or in the garden, the signal will be faster and stronger. WirelessN is much more adapted to travelling through walls and obstacles. The download speed is also up to 12 times faster ...

Manufacturer's product description
The Linksys Wireless-N PCI Adapter installs in most desktop and tower PCs, and lets you put your computer almost anywhere in the building without the cost and hassle of running network cables. Now you don't have to drill holes in your walls and climb through the attic or cellar to get connected to the network. The Wireless-N PCI Adapter uses the very latest wireless networking technology, Wireless-N (draft 802.11n). By overlaying the signals of multiple radios, Wireless-N's "Multiple In, Multiple Out" (MIMO) technology multiplies the effective data rate. Unlike ordinary wireless networking technologies that are confused by signal reflections, MIMO actually uses these reflections to increase the range and reduce "dead spots" in the wireless coverage area. The robust signal travels farther, maintaining wireless connections up to 4 times farther than standard Wireless-G.With Wireless-N, the farther away you are, the more speed advantage you get. It works great with standard Wireless-G and -B equipment, but when both ends of the wireless link are Wireless-N, the throughput can be increased even more by using twice as much radio band, yielding speeds up to 12 times as fast as standard Wireless-G.Once you're connected, you can surf the web, keep in touch with your e-mail, and share files and other resources such as printers and network storage with other computers on the network. To protect your data and privacy, your wireless connection is secured by up to 256-bit WPA2 encryption. The included Setup Wizard will walk you through configuring the adapter to your network's settings, step by step. The incredible speed of Wireless-N makes it ideal for media-centric applications like streaming video, gaming, and Voice over IP telephony, and gives you plenty of headroom to run multiple media-intense data streams through the network at the same time, with no degradation in performance. So don't hassle with running cables through your house - get your desktop connected the easy way with the Linksys Wireless G PCI Adapter.
