I used to shop regularly in Linzi's shoes when I lived in Essex. I found they sold a wide variety of cheap shoes, boots, flip flops and sandals.

Linzi sell a variety of shoes which are perfect for work - very cheap and quite pretty, but most of all comfortable. You can pick up a nice looking pair of flats for around twenty to twenty five pounds.
The first time I had a problem with Linzi shoes was with a pair of loafers, which lasted all of a month before the bottom came away from the top, and I had two talking shoes. Now, by this stage the shoes looked ... ...I was too embarrased to take them back. The stitching had come loose, leaving white pieces of cotton coming from the sides, and the bottoms of the shoes come away so much that they'd fold over and trip you up! I therefore looked around the stores but couldnt find anything as cheap and comfortable looking as Linzi. So I went back and brought an identical pair, thinking maybe it was a one off.

My first impression of the shop was it was a bit tacky-looking. I soon however got to know it and started to feel more at home there. The sales assistants in my particular local store were always very young school (or maybe recently out of school) girls, who were more interested in sniggering between themselves than in good customer service.
I must admit that there was one girl, the oldest-looking one I saw working there, who always made a particular effort to be friendly and welcoming. The other girls however would consistently stand around the till at the shop (which was empty expect from me), chatting and giggling to each other in between practising their pouts in the mirrors opposite. Yes, it made me feel very uncomfortable being in the shop but hey I continued to browse.

The first time I had a problem with Linzi shoes was with a pair of loafers, which lasted all of a month before the bottom came away from the top, and I had two talking shoes. Now, by this stage the shoes looked pretty bad, as if I'd had them for years and I was too embarrased to take them back.
Two weeks later, I noticed the same thing happening. But what can you do, you've only paid a few pounds for a pair of cheap loafers. Carry on wearing them to mess around in, invest in some superglue, and buy a better pair next time...
It always seemed to be the same thing. I must have at one point been buying a pair of shoes a month from Linzi, at ten to twenty pound a time. I'd buy them, wear them for a month and then they'd be so dreadful looking that I'd have to bin them, then I'd realise I needed some shoes for work the next day so I'd rush around looking for something comfortable enough to be on my feet all day in, not find anything and end up back there...
I can't believe it, I must have spent almost or even more than a hundred pounds in under a year before I finally came to my senses. I angrily realised I had to buy a new pair of shoes, again, and did (different style, again). I wore them for a day, and the bows from the tops fell off! I took the shoes back (one of the very few times I did, but hey, one days worth of wear is hardly enough to cause damage is it?) I was offered an exchange, very grudgingly I might add, and accepted the same pair back. .Ten days later, the bottom came away from the top, again. I chucked them away and haven't been back since.
I can't believe how mad I was continuing to go back there, but they are so cheap and have such a variety it just seemed cheaper. If only I'd spent an extra £20 in one go, I'd have saved by self about £100 (lol, my own silly fault I know).
I must admit the quality of their boots is much better, as is their flip flop/slipper type shoes.
Bad point no.2 is the stock they stock never changes!
Advantages: Bright airy shop, well laid out Disadvantages: young school leavers, no seniority
...went along to this shop, Linzi shoes, who apparently only have branches within the Essex area.
I came across them by mistake waiting for my bus one night before Christmas they were open for late night shopping.
I went in (was the only one in there at the time). The shop is very bright which is good as you can get the details of the shoes/boots and easily see the pricing etc.
They have a very good selection of shoes and boots. I opted for a slip ... ...star on each of the shoes. I asked if they did half sizes, was looked at like I was mad and subsequently told no. I then asked for my size, no smiles no "yes i'll check for you".
The "young lady" then came back with my size, I tried them on and they fitted. She came over and was very pushy towards me asking I liked them etc. and did I want them, I said yes, followed her to the till and duly paid for them. Not once did she say "please" or "thank ...

Advantages: Web site really easy to use, great choice of shoes Disadvantages: none
I wrote recently about Linzi shoes about how impressed my wife and i were with their shops ,staff and assortment of stock.Well now they have a fantastic web site www.linzishoes.com that even idiots like me find easy to use!!
The site is colourful and makes you want to stay and look around. It is not confusing like some sites. It has large easy to follow tabs that take you by the hand and lead you easily and hassle free to the section you require.
... ...plus some shoes that are not due into the shops for another month or so.Whilst there,my wife noticed that they have a range of boots called 'Lucky' that are an exact copy of a Mukluk boot that we saw worn by Kate Moss in the Daily Mail a few weeks ago.It said that the original boots were £325 and that 500 people are on the waiting list.I hope they like fur boots in summer!! The Lucky boots are £40 and are a dead ringer for the originals.Needless ...

...following the signs). Whenever linzi gets a new style so does markets, for example they selling most of the boots that linzi does for £10 (I know, I can't believe). I personally bought 4 pairs. I was talking to one of the traders and he told me that they buy from the same places linzi does, but sells them cheaper and just makes less profit. So how comes Linzi shoe shop can sell them double price. I have actually looked in the market, and one of the ...
