Too good to be true, well i went into a large department store to purchase this, spent another have hour (like we all do) trying to decide on my perfect colour which by the way i was hoping would make my lips look like angelina jolie!! ...Well it certainly lasted, at the end of the day i had a hard time to get it off! it was as though the pigment in the colour had stained my lips, and the next day all the moisture had gone from my lips, so i would advise you this if you are looking for long lasting colour than it certainly does the job, but i would give it a miss if you dont want to be wearing vaseline to replace the moisture, its a good product but leaves your lips very dry afterwards ... I was first introduced to L'oreal's Glam Shine lip gloss in my lecture hall at school. My friend had just applied it and I couldn't believe how it changed the look of her barely there lips. ...I have started to use Carmex lipbalm on a friend's recommendation and I was surprised to see and feel how well it worked! I've always suffered of dried and cracky lips particularly in winter and even if I always was equipped with lip balms and spent quite some money on it as I preferred stuff like Labello, it never really had a long-term effect. Neutrogena wasn't all bad either, but I have to say Carmex was where the revolution in lip care has come. ...
...and good for your health. Carmex original was lately accompanied by strawberry and cherry version - those I didn't have a chance to try though. I don't like the jar because not only as a nurse I don't like the idea of applying the balm on lips using my fingers when I can't wash hands beforehand. I have bought Maybelline Moisture Whip inthe past and been pleased with it. It does in fact tend to moisturise your lips, and means that I can skip my morning and evening applications of lipsyl/vaseline when I'm using this. Maybelline Moisture Whip, comes in a classy darkish tube - and so is different from the Watershine Diamonds, which I think comes in a lighter tube. ...local chemist was full of them, and I bought my current lipstick for about 1.05 pounds. However, the colour suits me quite well. Also, it is quite shiny and even looks a bit like some of the watershine diamonds shades, which I'm fond of. My only complaint about this is that it comes off quickly.
