Advantages Advantages cheap, easy to clean, sturdy

Disadvantages Disadvantages instructions very hard to follow, hard seat, doesn't fold away

When my son was almost 9 months old and STILL eating his food sitting in his bouncy chair we decided that it was time to buy him a highchair. We'd been meaning to for months but had simply never got round to, or more to the point when we got round to it we couldn't afford one. However, just before we went to purchase a seat my cousin told me that we could have hers if we waited for just a few more months. Now, obviously it wouldn't have been practical to wait for a few months with no highchair at all so we decided to buy the cheapest one available in Argos. This turned out to be the Lipski ... more

Well unfortunately Anna wasn't when sat in this. I bought the Lipski because it was in stock at work (£19.99 Argos) and wanted to get one then and there. Supposed to be suitable from 6 months upto 3years I wouldn't recommend putting a child that young in it and wouldn't risk the weight of a 3years old. The highchair is self-assembly and is quite fidly to do with the requsite instructions that make no sense, they seem to be referring toa different product half the time. Once erected the baby is held in place via a 3 point harness (waist and between legs) which isn't as secure as a 5 point ... more

I bought one of these 11 years ago. My daughter used it for a few years and then it got thrown on a heap of disused furniture, where it has lain out in the weather for 6 years, The other day I dragged it out' took it to pieces (very easy) washed and disinfected it thoroughly and put it together again (not too difficult--took about 15 minutes) It looks brand new; even the harness is still in perfect order, which is amazing for any fabric left outside in this tropical climate. It's now being happily used by a 5 month old ... more

Fine product up to the age that the little one can rock. UNSTABLE TOO LIGHT AND NOT ENOUGH BASE FOR THE SLIGHTLY OLDER BABY. Only for 1 year or under which makes it of very little use. Other than it being dangerous that way its great. Ian

Advantages Advantages easy to clean, fits range of ages, stable and secure

Disadvantages Disadvantages hard to store but will sit in a corner.

Me and hubby purchased this highchair - second hand as well - 9months ago, and have used this since daughter was 6months old. I deciced i wanted this highchair as my mother has used one for 5years as a childminder and had no issues with hers. Ours was fully built when purchased so cannot advise on that aspect but, yes although bulky to store, we adore this product. The fact that it is all made of plastic with no padding we believe to be a bonus as when little girl makes a mess at meal times/ messy play etc, it doesnt take 5minutes to wipe down. We have a very lively little girl and we have ... more
