"THE McDONALS's/MICROSOFT of ICED TEAS"
Does that give you an idea of what I think of Lipton Iced Tea(s) ??
hahaha!

Size:
1/2 Litre~

Cost:
Just over USD1 over here~

There are SO MANY better choices, like the brand "Arizona"
(ice tea from New York)
* Blueberry "anti-oxidant" is my favourite flavour!
I'm not sure if you get that in England...

Lipton ice tea tastes SO artificial and is way too sweet for my liking.
Very high sugar content!
Why not use honey instead, like Arizona.

Bottle design:

How unnimaginative...
is that the best they could come up with?
Have you seen the Arizona bottles or other competitors?
They're on another level!
Also, the bottle is plastic. It is a FACT that after-time
(an Lipton Ice Tea has a long shelf-life since there's almost no natural ingredients)
the plastic from a plastic bottle gets into the drink and can cause cancer
(information from my friend's father, who is a doctor)
e.g - NEVER keep any (plastic bottled) drinks for more than 4 weeks!!
And drinks taste better in glass bottles anyway.
This is not a big corncern for 99% of people, so that's why Lipton opts to use "un-evironmentally friendly" plastic bottles, cuz they're chepaer to produce; unlike their American (I'm not American) competitors who use glass bottles
(my two favourite brands use glass bottles)

Lipton has always been a very generic, no-frills sort of brand.
So it comes as no suprise that their iced tea is nothing special.
Of corse, "Lemon" and "Mango" and "Green Tea"
(haven't tries the latter)

TASTE:
Dull, sugary, artificial, bland.

AFTER-TASTE:
Just like with cheap other cheap sugary drinks and also gum, my mouth I felt drier than before I drank it! What's that about?

Ginseng and honey tea, is another favourite of mine.
This is because tea is SUPPOSED to be not just a tasty drink,
but a HEALTHY drink and alternative to soda (which is bad for you)
You should have a nice, sweet taste after drinking and not a dry, sugary taste.
None of my 5 favourite flavours are carried by Lipton.

All tea is healthy though. Like my favourite Arizona Blueberry Anti-Oxidant kind, all tea contains this property.
So of course, I'd rather drink Lipton than a Fanta or Dr Pepper... hahaha!

Health factor:
Better for you than many other kinds of drinks out there.
Contains ascorbic acid (vitamin C)

Lipton iced tea reminds me of the cheap, powdered kind that you would add water to and stir when you were a kid
(ln the 80's and no one cared about real ingredients)
It's like 0.1% juice...
The rest is pretty much water and flavourings.
But again, tea has anti-oxidants which is good.

Advantage #1:
Low cost.
This MUST be the reason why people buy this iced tea.
As I said before, there are soooo many other better kinds to chose from. So why would anyone chose this one I wonder?

Advantage #2:
Availabilty-most places stock this brand.

I have had worse, so that is why this product gets 2 stars and not 1.
