Advantages: Decent equipment
Disadvantages: Decent equipment

...would dream of faster speeds!. Liteon equipment for me is quality and reliable quality at that. I have bought two liteon drives over two years and both are still working today. One drive is a 40/12/48 and i had that over 12 months. The second drive is a 52/32/52 and ive had that nearly 12 months and on both drives there has never been a problem! The Liteon dvd drives are built to the same high quality standard as their rewriter range. Many ...
...i loose my warranty, But liteon has gone from strenth to strenth and made massive profits and turnover of multi millions world wide. Not many companys can start small and turn into a massive corparation over the space of a few months ?. If you are looking for a new rewriter or a dvd drive ? then you cannot go wrong with liteon :-). If they where rubbish ? i wouldant have 3 of their drives in my pc would i ?. Buy liteon and buy quality not crap! ... Read review

It is conform to DVD-Multi standard and all CD and DVD family media. The SMART-X technology supports high-speed Digital Audio Extraction (DAE) and high-speed VCD data extraction. LiteOn LTD 165 features high-speed DVD/CD playback technology and a gear-driven tray loading mechanism to improve playability and Auto Balance System (ABS) mechanism to reduce vibration and noise.
