Little Big planet was 1st available to buy in November and has had amazing reviews. The funny and easy to play system made a game for everyone, even call of duty and Killzone 2 gamers would die for this game. Only for the PS3 it makes this game even specially as the 360 owners cant get there hands on it. So in this game review ill go through story, campaign, community, creating levels, online and an overall, so enjoy
Story
Well the story doesn’t really become a story till the end, but it does go all around the world making you complete each country with little fun bonus levels with each one. There isn’t really a story so this is all that can be said.
Campaign
The campaign is really special and you can see the game designers have put a lot into each and every level of the campaign. At first the main reason for completing the campaign is to try and unlock all bubbles which hold item you can use for the online creating levels mode but after playing the first couples of levels you don’t just see the bubble side of the campaign but how much fun it is. Speaking of fun, this game is defiantly a fun game with amazing graphics as well as game play, the graphics are really good considering its no FPS, they haven’t gone with graphics that look 100% realistic but with graphics that make you laugh and feel good.
Community
The community in this game is enormous, with 300,000 new levels being created within the first month of its release it really does show that people are creating in numbers. The levels can go from rubbish to absolutely brilliant. There is a nice and easy search tool for fining games. From highest rated to new levels you can find a level for you, also you can search names of levels and authors of those levels.
Creating Levels
This is where Little Big Planet makes it from a good game, to a brilliant one. This level creator is so simple and easy to use anybody could make a level with imagination. Although it is really easy to use I must say remembering all the different items and what they do can be annoying. Also you can create your own sack boy (that’s the guy/girl you play as) with funny and cool new looks.
Online
As I’ve said the online is amazing, with thousands of levels and thousands more being made everyday it really makes this game a never ending game. also there is a co-op mode for the campaign and for user created levels, this means that because pretty much everyone is playing at every level you will be able to be paired with at least one person on every level.
Overall
Overall Little Big Planet is a very fun and endless games with great graphics and a wicked online and community. This game might not appeal to people who dont like 7+ games but when people with Killzone 2 and call of duty are getting this game, surely they can’t be wrong.
