Little Tikes Big Car Carrier

...there is the danger of little fingers being caught in the door. The cars which are of a chunkey and reasonable size of car. They aren't small but are large at about 15cms long. One is red and one is yellow. They have open windows but the doors don't open. Murray loves to push these cars along the floor and have races with them both pushing them at the same time as one another. The cars fit in just nicely into the carrier part.

...is fine for any child as it is chunky and doesn't have any little pieces which could fall off and cause a child to choak. Murray has so much fun with this Carrier and it has been an ideal present.

My Mother in Law bought this in Asda as part of Murray's main Pressie for Christmas. It was available for sale at £24.99 and it was just what Murray loves. My friends son had one of these and they had been available in Mothercare but I hadn't seen them when shopping in all the other toys shops for christmas pressies. I noticed in Asda at the weekend that they were selling them for something like £18.77!

The Carrier is like a car Carrier on which you would see the cars being taken to the garages in real life. The truck at the front is a navy blue colour. The Cab detatches easily from the carrier part, and the back bit of the cab has a large spike up the middle and the carrier is placed onto the cab.

The carrier is a grey colour and at the back there is a door which pulls down and forms a ramp to allow the cars to go up into it. The door can be a bit awkard to open or close and there is the danger of little fingers being caught in the door. The cars which are of a chunkey and reasonable size of car. There are little dips inside the carrier which is in the middle sort of area which one car can fit in nicely and I find that when you are putting teh cars back in at night you need to move the first car up to allow the second car to fit in.

The whole carrier is about a foot and a half long and fits just nicely down the side of our sofa. If you don't have much room this toy could be a burden spacewise.

One complaint I have is how easy the carrier comes apart. Murray is too young at 14 months to be able to fit it back together and Eilidh quite often manages to put it back together but Murray gets quite frustrated as he doesn't understand how to work it and get it back together.

On the positive side, this a is great toy for using their imaginations as Eilidh quite enjoys playing with this along side her other toys, and murray does enjoy playing with it and can play with it for quite a while without getting bored even although he is just young. It is also made from very hard wearing plastic and will never rust which is very good too.

This is an ideal car carrier for a 12 months plus child. It is recommended for 3 - 10 years old. But I personally would say that it is fine for any child as it is chunky and doesn't have any little pieces which could fall off and cause a child to choak. Murray has so much fun with this Carrier and it has been an ideal present.
