A little house to play in. When we visited Mead open farm Adrian played in their play area one of the toys he liked was a playhouse. It was the country cottage made by little tikes costs £159 including delivery from the little tikes web site. This playhouse would be suitable for children between the age of 2 to maybe 6 or 7 it is not a very tall not a large playhouse so I think older children would be too big for it. The measurements are 131cm/ 4 ft 4 inches tall, width 104 cm 3 ft 5 in, length127cm /4 .2 in. This house is made of strong moulded plastic it has a door, which opens and closes and 4 windows with shutters on. It seems well made and strong. There was a sink and a cooker having taps and knobs to twiddle, inside the house that Adrian played in. I must admit at 18 months old he was not playing house but enjoyed ...

Little Tikes Roadster car Bed

Advantages: Boys love this bed! Makes going to bed fun!
Disadvantages: Small mattress

I love the little tikes roadster bed! I bought one when my son learned how to abseil over the side of his cot. Its a chunky plastic moulded car, the mattress that comes with it is smaller than a cot bed mattress. My son is 2 and half and when he stretches out ( and if his pillow isnt right at the top end) his feet touch the ned of the mattress ( although he is tall for his age). I can't see him fitting in this bed once he is 4 ??? However, it definitely helped the transition from cot to bed. I thought he'd be up and down, in and out all night , but not a peep! Only once have I been scared to death on waking suddenly at 5am to see my son standing next to my head brandishing a shoe he had got out from under my bed. I think my reaction is the reason why he has never got out of bed again in the night. My son actively takes himself up ...

Little Tikes Heaven

Advantages: Great for smaller children
Disadvantages: They'll need a lot of pushing about before they get the idea

I love Little Tikes toys. If I had my way, I would have a little village in my garden, made up of the Little Tikes playhouses; the country cottage, log cabin and patio playhouse (to name but a few). There would be half a dozen cozy coupes, plus the police car variant and the monster truck, as well as a dinky little petrol station. It would look great with all those bright primary colours and would last for ages and ages. Kids would come to play in my garden from miles around, there?d be milk and cookies and the sun would always shine???......Hmmmm. Got a little carried away there, wot. Hey, you kids, SCAT!
