However my daughter is 9 and needed a little help with some of the games and my younger daughter who is 7 struggled to play by herself at times. The frustrating part is they have to 'pass' certain games to get the next animal and they were often asking for help. However they loved the animation and the interaction with the animals. ... ...into the littlest pet shop animals as it is the animation of them which kept my two most entertained. I would suggest buying it if your kids like these toys anyway, otherwise I would suggest one of the different range of sim animal games that there are available. ... more
Having brought this for my littlest pet shop mad daughter I expected it to be an instant hit and to be fair it was. However my daughter is 9 and needed a little help with some of the games and my younger daughter who is 7 struggled to play by herself at times. The frustrating part is they have to 'pass' certain games to get the next animal and they were often asking for help. However they loved the animation and the interaction with the animals. They both went off it for a while once they completed the game and got all the animals as there isn't much else to do except repeat the mini games over and over. However after a gap of a few months I have erased their saved games and they are both enjoying doing it all over again. I would say this game is fun for children but in my opinion it will be most enjoyed by those who are already into the littlest pet shop animals as it is the animation of them which kept my two most entertained. I would suggest buying it if your kids like these toys anyway, otherwise I would suggest one of the different range of sim animal games that there are available.
