"This is how it should be"

me and Danny Bowes in Hamburg

This album is everything that LIVE classic rock should be.

Thunders frontman/singer Danny Bowes delivers a stonking performance unrivalled by today teenie rockers.Ther rest of the band are: Gary "Harry" Janes - Drums, Luke Morley - Guitar/Harmonica, Ben Matthews - Guitar/keyboards, and Chris Childs - Bass.

Thunder was formed from the ashes of another great band - Terraplane - in 1989. The band are from London and surrounding districts.
Having seen this band live about 30 times and can confirm that this is a good representation of a live Thunder gig, the atmosphere translates well to the CD and it is the next best thing to being there.

This is a double CD, with 22 live tracks.
The tracklist includes well-known favourites, from the Back Street Symphony era, such as "Dirty Love" and "She's so fine", through the powerful "Does it feel like love?" and the haunting "Low life in high places" to the scorching "Gimme some lovin'".
The general feel of this album is much the same as when you are at the gig, it flows very well from ballads to full-on "jump around and get sweaty" rock stompers.

This album shows the talent of a band who are real showmen, they give 100% on every performance, they always get the crowd going and they are very accomplished live performers, they have been doing live gigs since 1989 and it shows.

The insert booklet has loads of photos from the shows and some backstage shots too, it's good for a giggle!!

Buy this album - you will smile, you will cry, you will sing until your throat is sore and you WILL dance around your living room!!

Hi, I've never heard of Thunder and also Terraplane, anyway, from where are they, Manchester ? Why helpful, I shall be such a hard and harsh rater, yes, sometimes, when some important things are missing, here they aren't, except the town maybe ... It's not necessary to write all tracks, when a few are listed and the rest is the same sound and style of song X or the tracks are in the product information and also some are in the review ... Well, maybe that's something for me, I love live-records and most of them are only one CD and so not from one show or totally cut ... Many regards, Sven (Zoobremia) P.S.: Anyway it's better to have the songs included ... P.P.S.: The booklet is also important for me and a small description is there ...
