Advantages First time quotes are competitive
Disadvantages Renewal quotes are costly
I had home & contents and life insurance product with LV. When it was due renewal they send me a quotation with 15% increase in policy for my home insurance. When I enquired about this, they informed home insurance prices are going up hence no way to give a better quote. Now I got the same level of cover with MMA which is 35% cheaper than LV. So as I had a motor insurance with LV. The renewal quote for it was also not very competitive. I think the trend of their renewal quote is comparitively costly than their first quotation and policies.However the first ever quote seems to be competitive in the market.The time held in the telephone was also substantial. I rate the value for money for the company as below average
