“ Will, Grace, Karen and Jack”

published 14/01/2005

hilarious

can they ever find true love?

Is there anyone out there who HASN'T watched, or heard of, "Will and Grace"? It has recently become one of my favourite sitcoms so I decided to spread the word and review it in order to convince the unitiated to watch it - or the non-believers to give it another chance! I originally started...

Not enough of it, bit repetitive and limited

Will & Grace It is an American comedy now in it’s fourth season which I disliked intensely at first because I was worried about it “replacing” Friends. I needn’t have worried. Friends has nearly run it’s course, but being a big fan of it I didn’t really take to...

very funny

only lasts for half an hour

For those of you that haven't yet witnessed the genius that is Will & Grace, read on and learn about what you've been missing. One very easy explanation of what the show is like is to say that it's the American version of 'Gimme, Gimme, Gimme' but as some of you wouldn't have seen that i will...

Excellent

Witty, cleverly written and constantly humorous

Gay theme may put off some

Will and Grace has the unusual honour of being both a conventional and unconventional sitcom simultaneously. On the one hand, it deals with the same brand of witty Americanised comedy seen before in rating smashes Friends and Frasier. Oppositely, it deals with the original premise of focusing on...

Super

Great, funny characters

One-liners might get on your nerves

Firstly can I apologise for the appalling title- I just couldn't resist! ;o) As a straight girl who lives with her gay best friend (currently not going well, I think there are some people who just can't live together!), I was interested to see the arrival on our screens of the new comedy series...

Very short episodes at under 21 minutes.

Airing at the unusual time of 7:30pm on weekdays, you would be forgiven to think that this comedy would be in anyway, twee. But thankfully there isn't any hint of a 'Hyacinth Bucket' or a 'Compo' to try and liven up the proceedings (considering this is American, unsurprisingly really). Bizarrely...

Cracks me up with laughter

Only on for half an hour

To start you off and give you a general idea I will list the lead characters in this excellent US sitcom. THE CAST Will Trueman (Eric McCormack) is a lawyer. Grace Adler (Debra Messing) is an Interior Disigner. Jack McFarland (Sean Hughes) is an out of work actor. Karen Walker (Megan Mullally) is...
