When I first had dealings with this organisation I thought that they were an outstanding establishment. Twelve months down the line I have written to the branch, without any results (perhaps this could be that Northampton branch has been split in two, and neither side know what they are doing!) I have had a loan with them for twelve months, always paid two weeks before the due date, and always in excess of the required figure.
In June I received a letter from the Northampton Finance Centre Manager (sounds impressive, try and get hold of him!) offering me a further Priority Loan Offer of £1000, then in small print subject to their conditions. So this letter in effect had no influence, just a means of wasting funds of Lloyds Bank and causing frustration to existing customers.
I called there offices this evening to see about this offer, (shouldnt have wasted fifteen minutes on the phone talking to someone who obviously didnt know what they were talking about, and couldnt find anyone who could) Bearing in mind that there had been no problems with the previous account I thought that there would be no problem and this £1000 would be an idea source to help with the move as a deposit and first months rent payment on a new property whilst I waited for the refund of the deposit and overpayments on the current property. But as the norm, dealing with Black Horse was more like talking to a Black Hole, staff who dont know what they are talking about, and letters that mean nothing.
I have emailed Black Horse directly this evening, but I guess that there will be no response to that email.
If you are looking for a bank or finance, deal with a company that knows what it is talking about.
