Advantages: Stunning stereo music playback at the price Disadvantages: Surround sound steering could be better

Advantages: Great value for money Disadvantages: Only entry level sound
with S-Video and component in and out. Extra set of composite and sound on the front make it easy to connect a digital camera or camcorder to your TV. Picture quality is fair for the price.

If the mains lead makes any difference to the way something performs, you are suffering delusions - go see your doctor, not your Hi-Fi dealer. And please ...

A little light music makes public transport an enlivening and enjoyable experience. In fact, with the right music, you can make the daily commute feel like a bit part in a music video or even a film rather than the hideous manky grind it really is. Ok, so it might be me - I have a tenuous grip on reality at the best of times and early in the morning before I've even seen or smelt, let alone tasted, a cup of coffee is definitely not the best of times - but putting my warped view of the world aside for a moment I'm sure you understand where I ...
