...I HAD NEVER EVEN SEEN CHURCHWOOD FINANCIAL! I have never and doubt I ever will come accross such an unprofessional, unorganised, ignorant company again! At the start they seem only too happy to help you and charge you for a service that a lot of other companies provide for free. 2 weeks in and the trouble starts!! the unorganisation becomes apparant, you are passed from department to department, personal information is lost. ...and advice, i was recommended Tesco loans, and apprehensively tried them, applied online, which was pretty straightforward and easy, was given a call by Tesco confirming my application was agreed in principle, 4 days later received a confirmation pack from them, i signed the forms and sent my most recent bank statement as requested. 3 days later, the money was in my account! Disgusted and cannot believe this is allowed

Advantages: None
Disadvantages: Pay back more than double what you borrow and worthless insurance

...said they'd give me loan. HFC suddenly said they'd kindly reduce APR from 25.9. My bank then didn't give loan. On hearing this HFC amazingly couldn't reduce rate anymore. I had to seek debt payment plan. All other creditors froze interest. HFC doubled £9,997 I owed them. Yes it's my fault I'm in debt etc but this is nigh on theft. Debt chasers call unaware of agreement at all hours. Obviously the one you give details too in day shift doesnt change ...
